You might wanna re-read my post. I said you can easily buy used Android phones with better specs than the Lumina 520/521 for under $100 on eBay. That's why nobody cares about $100 price for Lumina 520/521, you can find better Android phones for less.

Comparing new and used products is ridiculous. If I have $130 and need a new phone, there is no better option than the lumia 521.

Just because one can find a deal on eBay doesn't make it a better buy for the majority. Most are going to prefer new. If Nokia and Microsoft pushed that lumia 521 hard it could be the hottest phone on the market.

Plus chances are you are looking at ics or even older versions of android at that price point for used android phones. If we want to include older versions of software I would recommend a cheap $50 Windows Phone 7.8 device that would be MUCH smoother than those cheap android phones.

You definitely find Dual-core CPU/1GB RAM Android phones upgradeable to Jellybean on eBay for under $100. Also, you're forgetting the fact people don't give a shyt about Windows Phones. People will take Android Gingerbread over Windows Phone 7, anyday.

I understand what people are choosing. I am talking about What is BETTER at that price point because thats Nokia and Microsoft's only fight.

Find me a huge stock of 10,000+ used android phones in VERY GOOD to MINT condition that cost about $100 out of contract and is a better option for people than the NEW Lumia 521 or a cheap $50 Windows Phone 7.8 device.

Just because my thread isn't pushing Android or Iphone doesn't mean i'm "trolling". Last I checked, this wasn't Android Central or Ifanboy.com.

Secondly, I truly enjoy my Windows Phone. I'm sure there are alot of lurkers and other members that appreciate my posts regarding Windows Phone and are looking to possibly try it out as well. If you've convinced yourself that no other OS matters except the OS your familiar with, then that is your loss my friends. But there are more and more people out there that are truly looking for a viable alternative to the traditional players in the mobile OS space. Not sure why that is such a difficult concept for simpletons like yourself to grasp?

Honestly keep doing your thing, I'm always interested to here about different software iterations. I've just moved to Android and while I wouldn't consider moving to WP8, it's interesting to here about the hardware features and how they pan out from a users perspective.

Get me a high end Lumia phone with Android 4.3 and I'll cop first day.
