Door bell rang to be greeted by a young breh. 13 years old with a bike but no celly, who was abandoned by friends :mjpls:.
I called and texted his mom. She finally called me back. I told her I'm gonna bring her son home. Spoke to lil man on the ride home.
Hand him my phone to play music.
Types in weirdo cac SoundCloud rapper who has a Spotify page.
I say fukk it.
We talk about 2K, what he wants to do as a career as an adult, his parents aren't together but he seems his every other week or so. Has a sister.

Anyways we get to his house. Mother waiting outside and I introduce myself. She a little shaken like any mother would be. Let her know where I live and I couldn't get the bike to fit but they can pick it up whenever it's possible since she has my number.

Anyways do yall think it's possible I can be a mentor for little breh or something?
Anyways, let's pray for breh. I'd hate for him to get lost again due to terrible friends.
What da mom look like?:lupe:

He did not oppose christians and catholics, he just made a difference between the two.

He didn’t say “no”. I added that in. The point, however, is that there is no difference between the two. Most Americans are a bit ignorant of Christian history so they think that there is a difference when there isnt.

That's not true. Catholics have different practices and beliefs. Pray to saints and virgin Mary, believe in purgatory, etc.

There is a difference. Catholicism is a FORM of Christianism, you can be Christian without being catholic.

There is a difference. Catholicism is a FORM of Christianism, you can be Christian without being catholic.

But you can’t be Catholic and not Christian.

Are you purposefully being daft?

The question was are you catholic?

The response was Christian.

The assumption in that response is that Catholics are somehow different than Christians when they are not. They are Christian. Why is this hard to comprehend?

The Muslim equivalent to that is the question are you Shiite?

And the response is Muslim.

So the follow up question I’m going to ask is ok but are you Shiite because Shiites are Muslims and you didn’t answer my question?

The answer should’ve have been from the outset, no I’m Sunni and that would have let me know that he wasn’t Shiite not the response “muslim”.

So back to the original question posed, the response should have been “Protestant” or “Non-Denomonation” which would have let me know that he wasn’t Catholic not the response “Christian” because Christian is a BROAD term.

Protestants think they are Christians and that Catholics are something different. When Christianity is made up of both Protestants and Catholics like Islam has both Shiites and Sunnis. They may differ on beliefs and practices they are still under the same religion.

Is that clear enough for you?

And to be fair, Catholics do the same, they don’t think Protestants are Christians. They believe apostolic power was given to the Catholic Church through Peter which is the power given by Christ to ordain ministers and bishops, administer communion, absolve sin, etc. They think Protestants are operating with invalid holy orders not given to them by the Apostles.

Protestants and Catholics are both equally Christian.

The fukk are you talking about.

We’re talking about Christianity. Not the differences between branches of Christianity. That’s what happens when you’re LATE. Comprehensions be off and shyt.
