just got android 4.3 on my nexus 4

SMH, my phone is soft bricked. When I try to flash factory images 4.3 or 4.2.2, tells me I have an error: invalid bootloader image and boots me back to main menu of android toolkit

EDIT: nevermind, had to download the 4.2.2 from google server while using the toolkit and flash that. Gonna do the manual 4.3 update, then root, fix permissions, and do a titanium restore of apps and sms/mms messages

use the wugfresh toolkit i posted earlier flash the stock 4.3 or 4.2 if youre phone is on that now

I corrected it, 4.3 OTA update installing now. Just gotta root and restore app and sms/mms from Titanium

I don't need to tout anything BTW...unlike a lot of you geek ass posters I don't have to "compete" with any of you and your phones to be content with what I have. My nexus does everything I need it to do until I'm missing something or its starts slowing down beyond my liking...then I was update accordingly. You probably one of them dudes that switch Roms every other week...I'm a grown ass man with kids with 2 jobs I don't care about that shyt. fukk you and your Roms lol. Been there done that.

dont restore your apps from the 4.2 roms thats a big ass no no. It will have forces. delete the apps and start over. Most of these apps have cloud save

Most people who got the 4.3 update are saying they can't see any real difference. This is why I don't get all the Nexus hype. Also, anyone that cares this much could simply put a 4.3 ROM on a phone superior to the Nexus 4....

I am pretty happy with Sense 5.0 and won't even bother putting a 4.3 ROM on my One.

There is a big damn difference wtf...Just because it look the same doesnt mean nothing changed. Stock android UI is still good. Why yall want them to change for the sake of change. This was maintenance update. In a 100 days we will get key lime pie thats why you get a nexus. Nexus also equal free from carrier contracts and carrier block updates. GTFOH with sense 5.0 bullshyt. Sense 5 is android lite. Nexus 4 is a phone from 2012. The nexus 5 is coming out later in the year. What you gonna say then?? Nexus devices close out the YEAR.

seems like overkill.

Pictures show up fine in other gallery apps. My picasa pics show up fine in the Stock system gallery app.

When I take a picture. I am not able to view it. The thumbnail is a grey square, as is the actual picture. But I can view what the actual picture is when I try to set it as a wallpaper or I'm trying to edit the picture. This only happens in in the stock gallery app.
For video, the thumbnail is a grey box. But I can actually play the video file just fine.

However, with pictures that are backed up from picasa, I can view them fine under normal circumstances.

Factory reset brings me back to 4.3

go to gallery app app info force close then clear cache and data.....go to camera do the same thing....see if it resolve the issue. if not u need to do a factory reset to restore the system files. ye you will still be on 4.3
