The most important thing is that you are physically ok.

I done this before when a dude hit my car while in college

I still went to work and school
I spoke to a lawyer who was an alum of my school
And she told me to not get a lawyer because they would take 30% and I could do it on my own

I went to a chiropractor for over 2 months n the emergency room a few times
The dudes insurance company kept low balling me

I held out long as fukk
The damage on my car was small
My insurance company was gonna pay for me to get a rental but I told them that I was gonna use my father truck and they would reimburse him for it and get it back from dude's insurance

So after 3 months I settled
My medical bills were close to 9k
My pops got a check for $500 something for me driving his truck for less than 2 weeks
The damage on my car was about 1300

And I settled for close to 5k

Now wit the damage to the car in op
Dude could def get 15k or better

I had family members do the same except with a lawyer and got more but the lawyer took a chunky

the same thing happened to my neighbor, her car hit a pole and had shyt almost split in two. her insurance totaled it out and she was like "fukk that" and got her car fixed anyway. she still driving that ho. i love my ethan so much i dont wanna let him go. i wanted my ethan and a dodge challenger. i cant just be riding around in a challenger now.
