Or a lazy ass nikka, that hates doing dishes :lolbron:

Bingo. Me & my wife are fortunate enough to not want for much at all, but we both hate doing the dishes. :yeshrug: We use silverware forks & spoons but the cups and plates are plastic. The real shyt only comes out for the holidays.

Yes it would, because she'd be stuck in side-chick, jumpoff, 'round-the-way purgatory for displaying lack of standards.

Nobody takin a chick with no dishes and cutlery serious. :heh:
No it wouldn't. I'm talking about for me personally. And I mean to the point of ending the date and walking out :mjlol:

But most dudes probably wouldn't even find out that she doesn't have dishes or cutlery in this situation.

The chick in the OP only found out because she started asking questions. If you're over a chick's house chillin on the couch and she brought you your food, would you think to ask any followup questions about her plates?

I'd notice if I was rummaging through her cabinets but it's not something I would immediately think to explore if she just finished cooking.

for my daughters sweet 16... we used that good expensive deposable stuff...

whether I agree with the OPs stance is irrelevant (getting into an argument over it doesn't compute and wanting dishes doesn't make her boujee) but .. I'm wanna know ... whats wrong with using only paper plates?

@Dad are these the paper paper plates (the ones you need 5 of) ... or you using the term paper plates for disposable plates in general...

Only to find out that it was all a facade cuz a nikka got a cupboard full of waffle house bowls and paper plates :martin:

Good. More women need to come down to earth cause all of us men are not gonna pull out the red carpet for these hoes.

If I was OP I would have real plates and silverware, but that’s not the point. The point is the chick being so indignant to the point of getting belittling and an attitude in a crib that this man pays for and rests his head.

Criticism is fair but if we’re not in a relationship it better be on some peace shyt. She could have easily cracked a joke about it and moved on, but nah, the night had to come to a screeching halt. It’s her prerogative to be better than paper plates and his prerogative to not have someone in his crib fukking up his energy.

If the homies got indignant over your living situation you wouldn’t hesitate to check them after the second comment. But because a vagina and potential relationship is on the line nikkas wanna move the goalposts on their personal boundaries.

They could have chilled, ate a meal and never spoken again if it was a deal breaker for her and that’s fair. But I’ll be damned if I’ma be brow beaten and annoyed for the rest of the night by someone who is making a good point but in the most disrespectful way possible and she doesn’t even yet have any say in my life.

Call it spiritual or whatever but I try my best to not mix a meal with bad energy in the air. What was so hard about cracking a joke or pointing it out, eating the meal that she ALREADY put work in on and just never talking to dude again?
Exactly

That's the difference between a grown feminine woman and a disrespectful cantankerous(I had to add this word to my vocab after @ThrobbingHood dropped it in that murdered soccer player thread) bird

See, from a males perspective, this is perfectly sound behavior, so I'm not expecting us to agree. My point is that women are taught, more than men are, to pay attention to the details.

For instance, I mail people holiday cards. Most of my friends are females, but if they are married I always put the husband's name first as courtesy. I buy decent quality cards, so they don't bend after opening, and just little stuff like that.

If I invited a man over to cook for me, I would have set a formal table, including a center piece with fresh flowers and probably some corny dinner candles. :manny:
So you put the value of a holiday card on the same level as inviting a person into your house huh

So you think females are "more hospitable" because y'all focus on random non-life necessities huh

Your posts perfectly display the modern day female mindset
