So you usually like the finer grade utensils for your meals when a woman or others are involved but for yourself plastic plates because you only care about the sustenance and convenience? Hmm I'm so 180 of that mindset because how I see it whether I'm a plastic plate or fine utensils nikka whichever I preferred for myself and in my home would be the standard regardless if it's me or company.

The experience and bonding you mentioned imo doesn't come from the plates or glasses but from your interactions and conversing with the women. And if I looked at fine utensils as a hassle or inconvenience I would go through and stick my neck out with that inconvenience just to impress a woman.
