I believe the rule for calculating a generation estimate is 25 yrs. of if you do 25 * 4 (because they are 4th cousins) that means our shared ancestor probably lived 100 yrs ago give or take.

I’m not a DOS and my tribe wasnt on the coast (and didnt partake in the slave trade) so my assumption is the ancestreal relatives I had that were slaves were few in number.
