Not really, people that live in mainly black areas like Miami Gardens, North Miami, Miami Shores, El Portal, Little Haiti and Overtown don't really need to speak Spanish for daily life. I know people that families been in Miami for three generations don't know a word of Spanish. The issue with Miami is that the Cuban community is more entrepreneur and business starter oriented. While blacks or people of African descent, go towards working for the County, UPS or bureaucratic heavy jobs. So the Cubans circle there wagons when it comes to hiring, us as blacks don’t have shyt to circle.
