Basically my manager emailed me about work and I didnt respond. I had a good reason for not responding; let's just say that I had a power issue. I don't want to get into specifics in case my consulting firm is watching.

Translation: you were supposed to be working from home but you weren’t. Boss checked in you weren’t at the ready.

If you’re putting in work people give you benefit of the doubt. I missed a WFH meeting but since I been obviously working my boss just rescheduled no sweat.

Trust me I’ve been where you’re at but now is not the time to be fukking around on the job. Companies are looking right now for dead weight.

Not exactly. I really had a problem with power. Again, won't say too much.

The thing is I do put in work. That's why they forgave all of those other times because they know that I'm a great worker.

Every time these things occur see them as a growth opportunity. We all make mistakes. Be introspective, seek mentorship, and build yourself up so when the next opportunity comes up you'll be more than ready.

Why wouldn't you be able to explain the disconnect that occurred, what kind of outrage would you be liable for to the point you can't elaborate on it
