Brehs, I have nothing against community college, I mean to be honest there are some hella good ones and you can save quite a bit of money. And an associates degree can get you a decent job. The one I used to work at has a damn good IT program.

But please, please pick a better major than general studies/general education/general anything. :snoop:

First off congrats on finishing something. A lot of what college represents to employers is the fact that you can start and finish something.

Does the retail job you hold have any opportunities for growth (management)? Are you interested in staying with them in a higher capacity? I ask because I worked a 15 dollar an hour job in Health Care and when I finished my AA parlayed that into a higher position with a great opportunity to move up.

A Degree is only your admission ticket to the race. It is up to you to either win or lose from there and stay relevant.
