Myles Turner hanging out at the 3pt line is not going to help you win a title. That's why Indy let him walk.

They can change that though.

They can't change Dame's condition right now and inability to be on the floor. They needed to make moves.

You think Giannis knows how the salary cap works :mjlol: :mjpls:

Dude convinced Turner to come to the Bucks and left for the summer. Aint no way he gave any consideration to how the Bucks would sign Turner. That's some other person's job :mjpls:

Giannis threw Dame in the bushes just like he did Jrue

I’m confused, so he can only be signed by a new team willing to pay the $22M?
he's a free agent that can be signed by anyone other than the bucks, the bucks 22m cap hit has nothing to do with his next salary, he can be signed for the minimum up to the max. the bucks can get some luxury tax relief if lillard signs with a team this year or next year, but thats only calculated at the end of the year for luxury tax purposes, it doesnt affect their cap space. that 22m in dead money will be on their cap the next 5 years no matter what lillard signs for.

Thanks for the explanation breh!

In that case he should be thanking them. Assuming he’s good enough to get signed once he recovers. Some of these nba players would be best served spreading out these payments 😂

This guy is full of tough talk and gimmicks.

I don’t know why a lot of cats act like point of sports is winning. I get it selling expensive tickets and tv rights is more important, but still.

He’s 35, without an Achilles and his club win thus far is the IST. Don’t know why he and his stans are talking like Lakers dropped prime Kobe and didn’t pay him :snoop:

Overall it was a massive failure for Dame. Ppl are just skating around it to either be kind or faithful stans.

It wasn't about the money (since it was already guaranteed) it was about "winning" as a top tier player who didn't "run from the grind"... so how did that play out for him? Well, after he went on his passive aggressive tour on twitter 3 years ago, he got dumped in MIL (instead of his preferred destination of MIA), failed to co-exist with a top 3 player in the league for 2-seasons, culminating with a 1st round exit and ruptured Achilles. Now he's going to miss next season and will be 36 entering the '27 season lookin for a team to ring chase on.

Damn near the worst case 3-year stretch he could've had
