Got the call last week. My lawyer said they're offering 1 year in prison, do 4 on probation now. Aggravated Battery. I declined because although I'm afraid, I am innocent. I'm definitely not going to lose everything I own by sitting in prison a year voluntarily.

Trial starts sometime this week.

She definitely wasn't trying to make it a point for me to take it. She was saying that it would be a non negotiated plea and it would be totally up to me if I took it. She said that the judge may even agree to do all probation time, but she cannot guarantee it. She said discuss it with my family, first but if we have to go to trial, "that's fine" and the judge wouldn't punish me for doing so. Whatever that means.

Not knocking ur thought process but wen I was locked up all I cared about was getting out so I took the plea looking back I woulda did that shyt again cuz u never know how the judge feeling..ita a good thing u not in prison clothes cuz that shyt goes into play..i was hit wit trafficking and wen they knocked it down to distribution wit intent I gladly took it ..if u think it's best to take it to trail cuz u have a good lawyer and u confident that u will be free go for it..i just hope ur name is one of the first few called she not in a bad mood and she really listens to ur case..i don't believe in good luck so I hope ur blessed and free bruh that jail/prison shyt can break the strongest

10 to 5 to 1...thats says it all. take it all the way. they probably got that homeless dude all shakey an know hes not ready for this and trying to get something over nothing. at this point take it all the way especially if the judge isnt against trials. as wild as that sounds some judges will punish ppl worse for exercising their right to a trial. this world is wild. prayers and blessings to o,p. i know this whole week you gonna be a wreck stress wise. take it easy and a day at the time. pain doesnt last forever.

I got caught with 5 plates in 16 me and my boy...first offer was 24 years...5 in 19 suspended and 5 out

Said fukk them...they kept pressing my boy to take the charge since the car was in his name...it was either he take it and take probation or we both go to prison...he took it and outside of a lil probation (he can still smoke, got a med card)) we’re both free

I was ACCUSED of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a knife to commit a felony or something like that.

I'm innocent brehs. Wrong place, wrong time. Victim is "homeless'. According to the complaint.

The way I see it, I wasn't taking no plea whatsoever anyway. I would rather be innocent in prison than live in a world where everything I worked for is rendered useless.

I'm mad ASF. On god. Already sat 3 months on rice street for nothing.

Lots of people locked up in prison that feel the opposite of that shyt right there

I was just on a jury where the tried to pull something like this. They had no physical evidence on breh, couldn't even prove he was in Jersey the time of the crime, FBI found him down south food shopping. Couldn't tell us why he was even a suapect other than hearsy from someone who pleaded. Called a mistrial cuz 5 of us voted guilty on nothing more than personal preference. Surprisingly it wasn't a
