You're acting like Curry doesn't have a better handle than 99% of the league. And you're acting as if Curry doesn't only need an iota of room/space to get a shot off.

Curry aint Jordan. He's not strong or quick enough to get by a good defender thats allowed to put hands on him.

He's got a better handle than Jordan. Besides, not only is the impact of handchecking an old wives' tale, but you couldn't handcheck superstars like you could other players, without being called for a foul. This isn't even mentioning the circles they talk in is usually referring to a time when you could only handcheck from the foul line and down - which wouldn't have an effect on Curry at all.

This is actually one of the main reasons older heads refuse to crown him.

You're exactly right - old heads refuse to crown him on some zany, machismo schmaltz that only exists in their head, because they can't deal with the fact that there just might be a player in this era that breaks all laws of their belief system. That's why you've got all these past players coming out, sounding senile because they're trying to make sense of something their brains can't process - just like everyone else that watches him - except most don't say dumb shyt and just enjoy the show.
