This is what you should of done after the pick up stash it somewhere safe. Than get a blunt and smoke it in front of a cop and talk some shyt. You would of got arrested for drug possesion and disorderly conduct. Than you call his peoples from jail and tell em you got jammed up. Once you post the bond you stay low key and hide they probably gone think you still locked up.
