What a movie. Shot beautifully. Technically amazing. I been on this Keaten movement with Birdman, but Oyelowo may got him for best actor. :wowjb:

Carmen Ejogo was great as Coretta Scott King too. She wont get the praise she deserves, but that scene when she confronts Martin on his cheating. :wowjb:

This is strange movie imo. It feels like the entire movie is a long 2nd act but it felt rushed in places. David Oyelowo was good but Gyllenhaal, Carell, Keaton and Cumberbatch did better.

Yeah amazing movie...just watched it yesterday too. What MLK had to go through man . And this was only a small part of the full story too. Crazy shyt.....that was a strong brother, wont be many like him ever again . A shame white people have twisted his legacy to this day while they spat on him daily when he was alive. Also a shame this movie didnt get any award love but to Ava DuVernay for making such a powerful flick.

There is a theory that this is the reason Selma didn't get the Oscar love it deserved. They want to give all of it to Spielberg when he makes the movie.
