What country did they come from?

Moors is probably just a catchall term for Black Muslims, but it definitely referred to Berbers like the Tuareg and other Berber clans. They are mostly from modern day Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, Senegal/Gambia, Niger, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

People confuse the Moors and Arabs. They are not the same.

The Moor stuff is crazy. I took so many pictures of artwork at the louvre in Paris, of various paintings and there was A Lot if painting with either a regular sized black moor standing along side the other prominent white figures in the painting, OR it would be portraying them as midgets and servants the same size as dogs depending on the time period.

I literally took a picture of a painting at the louvre that showed a black moor helping Jesus carry the cross, I saw others with Mary, baby Jesus, a white man blessing them, and a tall black man with a turban standing next to him.

It’s crazy how dumbed down history is in America.

First off... Can you or others fetch me a legitimate sources that states the Moors enslaved Blacks in large numbers? No, they got enslaved because the Iberians(Portugese/Spanish) DEFEATED them. That's what the statue I posted "Four Moors" represents. It wasn't no Moors being oblivious to Europeans plans.

Are you referring to Moors selling Blacks into slavery via trans Atlantic slave trade or trans Sahara trade(both which were different)? Because the first one is extremely false while the latter it was mostly whites. It would be very expensive and worthless to transport millions of West Africans below to Sahara across it. Again fetch me sources.

Edit: even if we're talking about the Trans Sahara Trade the Moors would've HAVE to get the West Africans from BLACK West African states such as Ghana or Mali as they dominated the TST and were MORE dominate than the Moors in that area.

I already addressed this before. And this is where the myth comes from(dumbass hoteps who take any image out of context)... Those aren't even BERBER Moors(the ones who conquered Spain), but just Black Muslims in general. Moors meant Black people in general and even African-American slaves were referred to as Moors. More importantly in that pic is Elizabeth II... By that time the existence of the Berber Moors would have already been GONE! Lastly, Berbers do not even dress like that. lol...
