:camby:

AA and AC are both in my top 5 of all time but saying AA has good boss battles is a straight up lie.
:mjlol:

Yeah, so far that shyt has been easy as hell. Bane was a decent first level boss, but it was easy to dodge his ass. Scarecrow only wants to look at you :skip:

But that young Bruce hallucination :mjcry:

Harley didnt do shyt.

I hope the bosses get better.

Put in about 5-6 hours today :mjcry:
Loving it, but the combat gets a bit repetitive, especially since it's a button masher. Definitely fun to play if you're a Conroy and Hamill stan like me.
locked harley up, and am now at the Botanical Gardens. I had to tap out there. I cant play anymore

if you are button mashing then you are doing yourself a disservice.
if you take the time to really learn the combat mechanics then you can pull off some really sick combos with a great variety of gadgets, take downs, etc.

There really is no point. Batman will respond to anything by pressing x or y. It's not like the combos add anything. The only attack outside of just X that are worth it, are the bat claw, and RT+Y when they're down.

nah, when i'm in a fight with a large group i try to use every gadget i have and use every take down method within one long combo.
the greater the variety of moves within one string, the more xp you gain and therefore upgrade quicker.
batclaw, shock gun, freeze bomb, smoke bomb, glue bomb....i'm sure there is more but the point i'm trying to make is that it takes concentration and skill to get all of those off in one combo.

I'm getting real tired of the multiple armed guards + hide on gargoyles routine. I'm going towards Croc now, and this is like 6th time I've done this scenario. And they always piss me off.

Are you talking about just AA? Cuz later in the other games you're gonna need to use different attacks to deal with certain enemies...

I'm guessing you don't do the challenges outside of story mode either?

Yeah, AA.

I don't really care for certain challenges. I do smash the chattering teeth, and will pick up the Riddler trophies, but I'm not going out of my way for it.

I think the only game where I went for 100%, and got it, was Stick of Truth

Oh aight I got you. The game play expands a good deal in AC and AO, making it so you have to fight using certain attacks to deal with your enemies.

You haven't made it to Ivy yet and that is the best/toughest boss battle in AA IMO.

But I went back and beat this game again about a month ago, it's still fun, but it's so easy to beat the 2nd time through. The boss battles easily rank 3rd behind the other two games, but maybe the best story/setting. There's also a horror aspect to this game that I loved.

Having played and finished all 3 games twice, I would rank them AO, AC, AA....but they are all very close and all very fun.

Just beat it. It's a good game, but I don't know about calling it one of the GOATs of this generation. I was starting to get frustrated towards the end, and felt like giving up. Not because of the difficulty, but the gameplay. I hate backtracking on maps, things got too redundant, and the camera angles were shytty. The bosses never got better, but were decent. Honestly this felt more like a ps2 game, than a modern one. Take that how you will :manny:

When the girl breaks and resets, I literally thought my disc was fukked up, and I was about to start a chat with Amazon for a refund. :pachaha:

I do think the story was great. Would have made a great movie, or TAS double episode.

I'm 50-50 on getting the others right now.

She was the toughest, but she was lame too.

And Croc did nothing in this game. Why were guys bigging him up? :dwillhuh:
