He doesn’t play for the recognition or the individual awards or Pro bowls. In fact if he does get the privilege to be chosen for one, most likely he won’t participate(he’s been in the league 9 years, pats been to 9 straight AFC championships, 5 Super Bowls). He plays for the ultimate prize which is the super bowl. A lot of draft kings and fan duel fantasy football points champs watch him from the couch in January/Feb and I’m sure he’s completely fine with that.
A lot of those Wide Receivers with padded REGULAR season stats will never have the satisfaction to hold a Lombardy trophy, a Super Bowl MVP, put on a Super Bowl ring or enjoy a Super Bowl Parade. To each it’s own tho.
