I`'d only have a Week though which isn't even enough time to fully experience one of the cities. I may do one this yr, and the other next yr. In the fall I'm looking at Cairo or a city in Morocco (for next yr, I already have my trips for this yr planned).

Ok yea, if just a week then do one of them.

I'll say this, Accra is like Lagos on training wheels. Very similar culturally but not as hectic. It's good for an English speaking first time visitor to Africa.

For me, I plan to split 8 days between Lagos and Accra. I've been to Lagos many times so I'd just be visiting family and friends. Accra I've also been to and done the touristy things, so less pressure to experience the culture.

I've been to Monrovia and Lagos and Accra are literally NYC and LA compared to that lol.

My pops will be retiring probaby within the next 10 years (he’s currently building his home in Liberia). I’m thinking that + Liberia considering dual citizen ship for those in the disapora will be my ticket to make my move (since I’d be able to get an ECOWAS passport, even though the US passport is strong enough).

I know Liberia is an English speaking land, but how is it for AA’s to go there?

Lol man anywhere in africa is safe for AAs. As long as you have street smarts you will be fine. People will welcome you with open arms as long as you come on some black first stuff and not acting like an arrogant american.

At most AAs will have culture shock due to the extreme poverty and blant corruption being that corruption in the states is covert
