We're the slowest paced team in the league (It's why we hold our opponents to the 2nd lowest Points per Game and why are scoring, rebounding, and assist stats will typically be low. Slower pace equals less opportunities.

STAT isn't there defensively. He's not good enough at scoring now to make up for his defense. Our team is built defense first so a weak link in our defense is disastrous. He's pretty much there as insurance for a Bosh and McRoberts insurance.

And our best defense is when Bosh is center because mobile bigs do wonders for team defense.

I mean, you're bringing up Battier getting lit up but it worked because Battier did good enough defense plus spaced the floor well enough that we were able to pretty much outmatch it.

We usually had a top tier defensive team throughout most of the championship years.

Spo is, on average, a great defensive coach.

He makes boneheaded decisions but he's still really, really good at developing players defensively. We just need help on offense lmao

We need points from the bench, fam. Our squad is good enough to masked his defense, and for the record, last time he was on the floor he was on the point in defense.
