Maybe that's why Whiteside comes off the bench. He and McBob give the bench unit more depth and energy. Whiteside off the bench, is still gonna get his minutes, and he's still gonna get minutes down the stretch. He still gets his numbers with that 2nd unit, by having a passer like McBob playing opposite of him.

Hell, he'll get more numbers with the 2nd unit, because he'll be the focal point of the offense on the bench.

I like Green too, if nothing else the guy at least puts out 100% effort every time he's on the floor. But he's bordering on becoming an offensive liability
