Told you nikkas that Dragic just needed time to gel. :blessed:

Wade is understanding Dragic's tendencies and letting him get space. :wow:

Did you see Dragic bully the smaller Cav guards, shove them around, and hit him with the spin fade?

More importantly, when Dragic did his "Nash-esque" dribble to the paint but go around the defenders, did you see how Bosh turned the corner and cut so Dragic could find him? Those are things that Dragic was looking for to set up teammates that Bosh simply didn't know. Now they look for it and capitalize because bigs have to respect Dragic's finishing ability.

Bosh and Whiteside...:mjcry:

Green is an x-factor. He's s championship type 6th man simply due to his diverse skill set as long as he had someone to reign him in. He also gives no fukks (Like Johnson) and is the kinda player that can actually get hot and drop 10-15 outta nowhere.

Him and TJ are perfect spark plugs.

I love this team. We gonna struggle some games and I'm mad that we still haven't called up that three point shooter from last year (Dawkins, I think) but we a good team. Very dangerous.

But Ima wait till we play Golden State to see how good we are as a championship team;

Dragic:
Maybe im wrong b but last year i seem to notice Dragic tends to play better against bigger guards. Bigger not-so-quick guards who think their length gives them an advantage.

As far as Wade goes i expected him to be used to Dragic by now because they played together last year for a brief moment. It should mostly be Bosh and Winslow that need some adjustment time. He's been playing well the last 10 or so games but hes not out of the woods yet.and with all the mouths he has to feed and all the players that need touches he's probably at best end the season averaging 12 points/

Green:
Green is scary to me. He's liek JR Smith in a way. Great when the shot is falling. Painful to watch when it's not. I cant remember which game we were watching and his shot wasnt falling. I wanna say the OKC game.
Anyway, i remember him taking these wild quick shots off screens early in the shot clock and had me going :camby:

Green has bought in

This is more than just doing a job or meeting a mandate from the organization. Gerald Green is discovering a passion for defense he never knew existed. He needed to reinvent himself as a defender if he wanted a major role with the Heat, but the genuine enthusiasm has been unexpected.

“I’m finding joy out of it,” he said, nearly bursting out of a chair near Miami’s practice court. “Listen, dude, I’m lovin’ this. I’m surprising myself.
..........
“I’m trying to find a home, and can’t Miami be my home?” he said. “That’s where my intentions are. So what is a Miami Heat requirement? To D-up. I know if I want to be here the rest of my career, (forget) offense. I gotta D-up. That’s where my mind is at.”

The arrow is pointing up for him. If we're able to sustain this kind of quality of play, I would scrap any pie in the sky scenarios next summer of going after Durant, especially if it would come at the expense of losing any key players. Take care of our guys and then target 1 or 2 bargains for depth..ala Jeff Green, Ryan Anderson, JJ Hickson.

i think Dragic having his family here played a big role too. but i agree with everything.

also lettuce talk about the boy Gawdtise taking shots at Stanley Johnson & detroit. :pratice:

What do you like about Miami?
“There’s a great basketball culture that I like. Everybody likes the Heat, so that’s cool. Just the people. There’s a lot of energy. It’s a younger city. You get a lot of people coming here for two weeks or a month. I like it. People always want to visit you when you’re in Miami. It’s not like you’re in Detroit or something. I like it here.”
