and.....we're third
It's insane to think that coming into this stretch from the all-star break, everything was doom and gloom. Even had some users and other pessimistic Heat fans suggesting(don't know if serious or joking) that we miiiiight have to be #tankwave. Now we're on a 3 game winning streak and 3rd in the East....

Wade 16/5/3
Deng 13/16
Whiteside 19/18/6
McRoberts 10/6/3
Winslow 15/7/4/4
for real deng is playing possessed out there. I don't know if it's the fast pace or what, but he looks like a whole new man. this is what happens when you involve everybody in the offense. they're gonna be happier and they're gonna play harder. this team lookin deadly as fukk right now. warriors on wednesday.....I believe:banderas:

When the reports came out a few months back about him not being happy with his role it surprised me because he seem like a company guy. The quicker offensive and being able to have the ball more in his hands has help alot. They are just not having him sit in a corner and hit 3's. he is cutting slashing and posting up hustling on the board they are utilizing his skill set alot more then before

I think he also has way more energy. Earlier in the year Spo would play him only mid 20's in minutes and alot of time he wouldn't see alot of second half or fourth quarter minutes. So he definitely alot more fresher for the stretch run for the playoff.

People are reactionary and use single game sample sizes instead of waiting to see or acting like this is like 2K.

Players have off games, days where they don't feel well, and days where they do everything right but they're playing against dudes who are just hotter.

Just like there are games where Spo's offense was generating good looks but they just weren't falling or other such things. It's why I try to point out things we do consistently (Both good and bad) or how shots are defended or made, not necessarily if they went in or not.

The only thing that makes me nervous is the overall pace of play. We looked good after a big long break but can all of our guys keep this pace up for the rest of the season and until the playoffs? When the playoffs start and teams start locking down on transition buckets, can we trust our half-court execution?

Deng dislocated his finger already and these high pace but physically defensive teams can lead to injuries. Let's keep our cool.

I will say that Winslow is AMAZING. The dude is already one of those Draymond Green-types in that what he brings, every night, is consistently great. He's probably been one of the most consistent bright spots of the entire season and he's only getting better as his confidence grows.

After an off-season with Miami...dude is gonna explode.

We have a fanbase of reactionary psychos man.....

We just need to be patient with each player. Imagine if fans were GM's.

We would've already given McBob, Whiteside, Deng, Dragic, and Green the boot. Which is funny given how they've played the last 3 games. I bet there's fans on Heat Twitter right now wanting to trade Wade.....

McRoberts was probably one of the most hated Heat players, on the team, before the break.

People forget that Green has actually saved our asses with 16-18 point explosions, off the bench, when we started out.

I like all of our players and I saw what we're going for. Just gotta find the best mix of offensive chemistry, defensive versatility, and pace with our lineups.

Green and Whiteside, together, is a travesty because Green tries to fight over every screen and Whiteside likes to sink back so it's hard to stop PnR with those too.

Amare is also "meh" without Bosh because his defensive instincts, especially when it comes to positioning and cutting off lanes, is subpar.

Whiteside gets destroyed by fast guards, in mid-range, but he's GREAT with Winslow pestering defenders because Winslow is active at pressuring and knows where Hassan likes to sink to so he's good at pushing guards a little closer than they want to be.

Surprisingly, Dragic is also very good at pushing guards deeper int the paint to make up for Whiteside's sinking.

Oh, the biggest thing Deng brings is that he will push the ball of he gets a rebound and Bosh doesn't do that. Deng likes to create pressure as fast as he can while Bosh likes to set up a bit more when it comes to offense.

And, just in case the brehs forgot, a healthy Bumpy would be SHINING in this offense right now.

I don't mind him out because it gave Richardson some shine but I think our young core cam really do some damage if we keep them.

Bumpy and Richardson would be perfect pieces for off the bench energy and defense on a good squad. TJ's shooting, before his injury, was pretty damn great and Richardson had shown an ability to attack defenders, get to the rim, and nice form to build off of.

Winslow and Hassan don't even really need to be discussed. If we grabbed a Barnes and picked up a young shooter, we could have a good core to pass the torch off to.

Winslow, Barnes, and Hassan is a defensively terrifying team to deal with. We could probably have an offensively talented but meh-offensively PG and still be an elite defense.

I don't blame them for losing faith. It seems like Spo didn't know what to do with the talented players we have in team Heat. Then, we have some our top players being inconsistent. In a small stretch of a mini win streak, we look good than on the next few games we go on a losing streak. We were too depended on the defense and slouching offensively. I'm glad that Spo finally allowing the players to play their game, which has benefit the offense tremendously.
