Read all the books and by far the worst movie was Prisoner of Azkaban for me, which blows my mind because it seems to be the favorite of most folks who didn't read the books. shyt felt so rushed. In contrast, the first two films where so much better done. If I'm not mistaken, they switched directors or producers and the OG Dumbledore died before filming commenced. IDK. I don't get how so many people love that one.

This is probably true. I loved the Hobbit, but the first LOTR book was a bore. And I had no interest in finishing the series.
