I cant get jiggy with that shyt. Seeing people die from getting hit by CGI spells and magically vanishing is pretty lackluster.

Plus raven claw and whatever that other gang is gets no love throughout the series. They just be there which is crazy cuz their merch be selling like crazy. Thats like rocking a jersey from a team with no stars.

The whole series gets tedious. Thats jmo tho.

I had seen bits and pieces of them over the years, but I never watched them cause I was a huge fan of the books when they dropped and didn't think the movies would measure up.

I watched them back to back around August 2021 and they was hittin :ehh:

Read all the books and by far the worst movie was Prisoner of Azkaban for me, which blows my mind because it seems to be the favorite of most folks who didn't read the books. shyt felt so rushed. In contrast, the first two films where so much better done. If I'm not mistaken, they switched directors or producers and the OG Dumbledore died before filming commenced. IDK. I don't get how so many people love that one.

Honestly, it's probably because it's where the books and movies began to shift in tone and went from a young teen fantasy to a young adult fantasy genre. The series became darker from that book onward and it gave much needed lore drops for Harry's family & their friends, & Snape

sheeeeeeeeit, books were fire straight out the gate

Nah, number 4 was the peak, real 10/10 book. 1/2 were her finding her feet, 3 she was picking it up in terms of pacing/narrative, 4 she knocked it out of the park. 5 was bloated but had some of the best moments in the series, I barely remember 6, 7 was probably the second best book in the series.

Even though everyone hates 2, I really loved the mystery/twist in the story. But yeah it's kind of a non-story in the series as a whole.

And it features by far the biggest shyt that don't make sense in Harry Potter. Time travel. That shyt didn't and has never made no sense.
Me and my nikkas use to discuss that shyt over 40s and still to this day can't tell me that shyt ain't a plot hole

Still loved the books but it's too easy to break HP's lore. :francis:
