This is how I feel. I am happy for the Natives -- but this continues to show specialized specific programs and grants can be created and issued out.

There is no jealousy -- it's understanding that what we have been asking for before reparations and during our reparations fight is available and can be specific to our communities. In many places our neighborhoods look just as worst - if not worse.

HHI are 20K and lower as a median -- especially in many places in the Black Belt.

There is no jealousy. But, how does one do that -- when most of the communities that need help have no way to fix up or build up -- without the help of the government. They are barely making it -- and HHI are below 20K.

I think OP is just going for highlighting that some groups get special assignments of money while blacks have to rely on a rising tide lifts all boats disguise to get help which is true.

Been putting off saying this though on these discussions. Not saying it to discourage "tangibles for blacks " discussion and don't think this mean that the thinking isnt correct but this further highlights the difference between racism towards blacks and other groups that people refuse to acknowledge or gets ignored by racists who say "XYZ group faced discrimination too" .

Folks ignore that anti black racism in this country is stronger than any other racism in this country. To the point that there is almost an animalistic instinctual reaction among a good chunk of the non black population towards any legislation that appears to help black specifically that if it was anyone else wouldn't exist. This is a challenge for reparations and why some people aren't entirely wrong when they say black American reparations is difficult to achieve POLITICALLY. They don't say it out loud but they know it's because it's not just a logical rejection of reparations but because there is a huge population if not the majority of whites in this country whose head will explode at the idea of "their money" going to some "filthy fukking ******s!". The level of hate of blacks in this country is astronomical which makes this a political minefield for politicians that they wish to avoid. It sucks but it's the reality. If black folks want to disengage from the political process because of shyt like this I don't blame them.

Have you been in FLINT? You don't know how long Flint has had those issues - do your research. Flint has been in the dumps for years. It's many toxicity and sewer issues in many Black areas.

How are you in Canada telling us about Black cities and communities? We are not saying what they need. We are saying what we need -- and it's specific programs can be made to help them too.

Come visit Baltimore. Or Detroit. Or Flint, where black people are still drinking poisonous water. Also read up on the history of Native American's interactions with blacks in the U.S.
