I don't really care about affirmative action one way or the other. I was only addressing the false claim that Scalia made racist remarks about black students.

He was of the belief that any state-created racial distinctions, even if they were created to make up for past injustices, perpetuated race hatred. One could argue that he arrived at that conclusion by making some wrong-headed assumptions. Namely, that affirmative action students do very poorly in college.

But his opinion on college admissions processes doesn't really define how his jurisprudence affected black people. Nor should it.

His argument ignores the historical impetus that caused affirmative action to arise.

The only UNQUALIFIED students admitted to universities are WHITE people. 80% of whites in college DO NOT belong there and absent the lenient grades, cheating and old homeworks that they depend on to pass classes, NONE would graduate... At all...

I've been schooled most of my life with some of the most ELITE white people on the planet and in a competitive advanced class of 100 people MAYBE one or two had ANY business in college...

While the Black students were studying the white people were getting high and drunk...

They never studied because they had copies of all the tests/labs/answers...

So why does the black population rate at Harvard have a 96 percent graduation rate?
Actually for the Ivy League the numbers are extremely high
1) Harvard : 96 percent
2) Yale: 94 percent
3) Princeton university : 94 percent
4) Brown University : 91 percent
5)University of Penn: 91 percent
6)Columbia :90 percent
7)Cornell: 86 percent
8)Dartmouth : 86 percent
