I read it all, twice, i'm not slow, you literally contradicted yourself with your own source.

you are claiming:

You post one link that shows Black graduation rates (but mentions nothing about relative rates to other races).

Then you post a second link that explains, with a giant graph, bold ink and blue font:

"At a Small Number of Prestigious Colleges and Universities, the Black Student Graduation Rate is Higher Than the Rate for Whites. But at Most Selective Colleges and Universities, the Black Graduation Rate Continues to Remain Well Below the Rate for Whites.

:sas2:

Now I know you're slow. And you read it twice? :mjlol:

I was discussing the top universities in the country and only discussing Black graduation rates. I don't really care how well they are doing against their peers. The numbers show that Blacks at Ivy league schools (the top universities in the country) tend to graduate a lot more frequently than Blacks at other schools.

You're not bright at all. You have a hard time comprehending simple sentences.

Also, nowhere in my post did I contradict myself. How about you take that processor out of your computer and have a neurosurgeon attach it to your brain? It will help you out a lot. Now kindly :camby:

That has nothing to do with anything I/Scalia have been talking about.

All black people that get into Ivy League schools aren't there because of Affirmative Action. The point Scalia is making is that Affirmative Action is placing SOME black people with relatively low GPAs into better schools than they should be in, and its hard for these black people to keep up. (not cuz they are black but cuz they are generally worse candidates IE have worse GPAs and worse SAT scores)

Your point isn't even consequential at all to what I or Scalia have been saying, and you are filling your comments with insults to try to distract from this.

Black people, relative to (eg) white people, drop out of higher ranked schools at much higher ranks , there is obviously a reason, and its not that big of a stretch to assume a lot of it is due to Affirmative Action accepting people with (EG) lower grade point averages because they are black, forcing many of them into a harder school than they aren't prepared for.

I am not distracting from anything, you read my post twice yet couldn't takeaway the obvious points I was making. I said in so many words that I don't care for what Scalia says (he utilizes flawed information in his reasoning btw) because I've read all about Scalia. I just ignore him because I know his shtick. I made that very clear in that post, yet your slow ass couldn't comprehend that?

I don't have time to argue with folks that barely graduated from a community college. Now again, kindly

I don't why you guys are arguing with cac dawg :skip:

I'm not really "arguing" in that sense. I don't think it is an argument which is why I just tell it like it is. The guy is obviously mentally deficient.

I got your points, they are ridiculous and you blatantly contradicted yourself and anyone can see that. (see comment #120 in this thread) Peace

Let me make this clear since you obviously have some reading issues.

I was speaking on Ivy league schools and the links I posted directly supports my statements on those schools. I was not talking about every other school in the country. No-one can see a contradiction, if they know what the word "contradiction" means and understood my post. The only person that sees some phantom contradiction is you, and that is for obvious reasons.

Curriculum != Curve breh. I NEVER said the word curriculum or workload. The cs classes at my school are just like the ones at Harvard, the average grade/100 is just a lot lower.

Dont ever imply I would say something like that about us .

It might be another black kid at the top o the curve fukking it up for the AA admit. But bro. No one with an 1800 SAT should be on the same curve as a first semester freshman with someone with a 2200. The 2200 kid fukking up the curve could be another black kid.

The same shyt will happen with gay, disabled, athlete, trans, whatever. If your SAT is a standard deviation below mine and we take calc 1, physics 1, chem 1,and intro to computer science on the same curve, your confidence will be hurt.
also you're making the assumption that some how having a high SAT score = to having high gpa and performing well

my SAT score was 1100 i have a 2.97 in electrical engineering i can say i'm doing just fine :yeshrug:, but my act score was a 31 so you tell me if i'm still wrong

you do know harvard engages in grade inflation to ensure that their students don't fail out of college thereby not damaging the school's name?

Who cares, thats not what I meant anyway. The material for a BS in computer science is the same at Harvard as at Michigan State, its decreed by ABET.
