I hated that beat for the longest until I got a hold of a gang of Quik instrumentals. I played the Justify My Thug instrumental in my ride and it just clicked. Everything you said about the beat describes it well.

Yeah I enjoy listening to Quik talk music and tech. I'm going break out that DVD tonight.

The problem is it stands out on the album and goes against the flow but I love the track

Love Quik man. Loved that beat too. In my younger days when I had my city on smash I did a mixtape joint to it called "Justify My Buzz" for all the crab azz rappers that wasn't getting no shine explaining there's levels to this sh** as Meek would say.

plus, el has been on and off drugs for years so it's probably a thing where el's management was tryin' to help keep him any form of drugs

quiks whole demeanor n intro for a legend...spelled disaster



he rode with quik everywhere from 97-2002ish 03ish..

quik kept em clean for performances...got em in the spotlight again..
