absolutely no one, they want to steer the conversation away from the original topic

just look at the new blacks dapping his post

I dapped it cause I agree...but I also agree that it's pure deflection cause it has nothing to do with this thread.

And that deflection can and will be associated with defending people and absolving them of their words/actions.

I'm just saying...:manny:

The reason the video leaked was to get whites off his back.
His team knows that new blacks will defend him. And now the whites that was getting on him no what he really is about.
A lot of people will say the video was put out to hurt him no it was put out to help him with whites.
We already know how most of them think about us.

It's like that lily white celebrity actress that dates nothing but white guys...then dates a black man, get bombarded with disrespectful comments about it, then comes back to the white community on some "I've never left" shyt and gets praised.

Or that porn star who started doing IR and stopped doing IR cause instead of previously making $5000 a flick for doing white guys...she now gets $500 and wants that big buck payout back now that she's getting old and withered.

They just use the black slang, music, and culture to their advantage and then when they get sick and tired of being seen as a "N1gger lover/Wigger" amongst those white people...they show their racist roots to the world and bang! Back in with their good graces (and dollars...the most important thing).

This is why white artists that do black music seem to go farther than their black counterparts in their OWN game and why black artists that do the same thing or make music outside of R&B/Hip-hop don't get that same love and money. Most of these white people love black music but can't supress their hatred/indifference/misunderstanding of black people enough to support them so they would rather have other white people do it...as if our culture is better without us in it.

Yeah, I did actually see that. I owned EM cds too...but I will admit, once that EM "n!gger tape" came out on the messageboards back in the day I had to look at him differently...

I see Bieber the same way now...

im 22 and got into hip hop and music in general at a late age...like late 04 ...early 05...dont remember when I found out about the tapes but maybe 06 or 07...watever the case I guess because I was such a fan of his classic early material...but I got to follow my dignity and let go superficial reasons...I can say that unlike Napoleon im admitting to being hypocritical...I still have the first 3 cds right in my room...but why should I hold on to it? Just because most who he makes fun of are D list white celebs doesnt mean he doesnt have the same beliefs...I mean there is a tape of him in his late 20s I think at a bet award or something mouthing "nicca" on stage with dre

Unfortunately I think that's what happens to people who have no diversity in the people around them. It also could be they feel weak so they think there is power in doing stuff like putting people on an imaginary c00n train that while funny has no power at all.

Dawg...I have plenty of diversity around me. Like I hang out with blacks, spanish folks, asians, indians...

I have white friends too...and they've constantly told me how much they hated racism and racist words and all of that...

One of them even dates a black girl......

And they would NEVER co-sign anything about this. (probably cause they hate justin bieber like everyone else I know, but this would just be the straw that broke the camel's back...)

What does that say when I say that I know WHITE people personally who would straight up see this clip...call it racist, call him a racist, and call it a day?

Some of these black people responding in this thread defending this...honestly disappoints me and saddens me more than anything else.

c00ning is at all all time high in 2014...

I always know now thanks to the internet that whenever a white person says or does something racist...there's always going to be a black person defending it and hiding it under the guise of having an "alternative viewpoint" or "unpopular opinion" that somehow we just "don't get".

I call it what it is "c00ning". And that's defending racism on any level, defending racists, sympathizing with racists, and throwing shade and disrespect to other black people to appease non-blacks.

Some things are not worth defending at all. This is one of them.

I agree...people change. But this is on tape, and Justin's gonna have to live with this even though people think "he's changed"...cause in the back of their mind they'll hold their suspicions about his true motives and intentions.

Sure, not as bad as racial profiling and systematic discrimination...but just as bad cause those words stem from the same system. I call it what it is.

@Napoleon

you have severely disappointed me all throughout this thread...seriously. I know you like this guy's music...but gotdamn man!!!!!!!!

I want to pretend like I didn't read some of your posts...but I can't.

I hope you learn from this situation and see the error of your ways. That is all.

After this...I really I don't think you should be reppin the #inherently tag like that anymore.

Damn, some of you are sensitive

He was 15, who gives a shyt. He was a child. I said and did lots of stupid shyt at that age and you can say racist shyt without actually being a racist

inb4 I get called a c00n

Some nikkas like to PMS over the stupidest shyt.

A lot of people hate/mock black people. Thats the reality. If this is some earth shattering shock to you than you're naive, simply put. Those of us who are aware of our surroundings couldnt care less about this

I take it you've never really followed that whole young skater shyt. :snoop:

I feel like i'm talking to a wall.

You've really got a long way to go to convince me that shyt is racist.

Dawg...I'm gonna be 30 in August. I've been skateboarding for almost 25 years of my life.

In that time, I've seen many boards, graphics, ads, magazines, videos, etc...and believe me thee that sambo/gorrilla thingy has NOTHING to do with skate culture.

Yes, alot of us that skate do graffiti or have done graffiti in the past and vice versa...but never was anything like that acceptable other than some tongue in cheek stuff that would of been more realistic in the 90s than now.

Infact, one of the reasons I gravitated to skateboarding when I was younger was because it was so diverse (I've met mad black skaters who also own shops, companies, film, are pros/ams, etc) and because it was soooooooooo non-racist. Infact, I consider skateboarding and skate culture to be completely anti-racist, especially with ties to the whole punk culture.

There have been plays/commentaries on racism in skateboarding that have featured everything from hanging klansmen to pictures of Malcolm X and MLK in ad campaigns and skateboards.

So, you miss me with this cause I've been in the game like that since the 90s. Shyt, technically I started when I was 5 in the summer of 89 so...I could say since the 80s!!!!!!
