I disagree. He can still switch AND he made a whole lot more money in the past 5 years as a starting QB than he would have as a receiver.
This is Fields 5th season. He's had enough snaps in the NFL. He's seen everything and he is still holding on to the ball too long. Cmon man
NFL QB club is a fraternity, these guys aren't going to go completely out of their way to shyt on one another. Acting like it's sacrilege to want Fields benched when the team had like 80 yards of offense all game isn't absurd. Denver's a great team, I think they'll be in the AFCCG. They don't have the 85 Bears or 00 Ravens defense.
What's equally confusing is the offense actually looked competent when Fields missed a game and Tyrod was in. Sure, he threw the pick 6 but he had them in position to win the game vs the Bucs

Justin Fields has a 6.2 Yards Per Pass Attempt.
That's near the bottom of the league.
At this point he has to recognize the truth - he's just a mediocre game manager QB. He does nothing but throw underneath and tries to limit turnovers.
7 Passing TD and 1 INT look like good numbers...for maybe a month. Not for 9 games of a season.
If he still had the rushing upside from 2022, when he ran for 1,000 yards we might be having a different conversation.
