We see the frequent overthrows to wide open targets, the starind down of WR's, the deer in headlights, Scott Mitchell when facing a blitz, throwing into a window thats not there instead if using his athleticism to extend the play like Ben and Josh Allen do on the regular. His coach is a moron, but that has little to do with all the plays he leaves on the field.

No room for nuance here. Do I think Herbert is overrated? Yes. He's talked about as a top 5 QB and has done nothing to earn that acclaim.

There were questions about Herbert coming out of Oregon, he was QB3 in the draft for a reason.

Not saying that Herbert is a scrub, he’s a good, talented QB but that rookie year skewed how people viewed Herbert but sometimes those rookie years can be flukey (for lack of a better term), look at Baker.
