Ah. no need to read past this here...Elvis a music legend who hasn't had an album crack the top 50 in the streaming era :mjlol:

he's a part of american folklore like paul bunyan or john henry, but he ain't no fukking legend...keep trolling though, i'll let you have the last word. :coffee:
You clearly don't know what a legend is and now you're contradicting yourself.

They're all tryna get paid. Timberlake is a leech and Lizzo, Meek & SZA are gonna finesse him financially. I see no problems everybody just tryna make a dollar.

Of course he's a leech, anybody that thinks these artists are thinking about HIM creatively when they're recording their projects is delusional

they're not thinking about him until that phone rings and the paperwork is done, nobody is in that room for "artistic" reasons :heh:

Man of the woods proved further that Timberlake was always a singer that was dependant on how good timbo/neptunes has to be.

He tried to hop on trap beats & he sounded corny like an old out of date dad.

Never thought Timberlake was all that from a talent perspective & it'll always be usher over him til the casket drop:yeshrug:

Its Crazy how we had radio stations actually playing a lil nas x-less version of old town road but this nikka get to flip flop between black n cac culture with no resistance. This nikka tried to separate himself from the culture on some Miley Cyrus shyt wit that man of the woods weedplate. shyt flopped now he wanna come back to get vibes from the culture. He’ll be welcomed back with open arms n bbq invites :coffee:
The way I see it, he's trash without our cosign :yeshrug::mjlol:

Don't care about Justin Timberlake one way or another but admit I liked some of his songs. I mean, outside of focusing on his skin color, I don't understand how you could hate some ALL of his music and there are plenty of artists who wouldn't be shyt without good production. Hell, most of the modern RnB scene fits this bill unfortunately. Aaliyah wouldn't have been what she was without good production.

I do wonder does this caring about "culture vulturing" only pertain to artists that don't have wide black acceptance though. Are we ready to accuse Bobby Caldwell of culture vulturing for example when he first started as a rock musician, didn't succeed, was recommended by his mom to try RnB and on his first album cover purposely only showed himself in silhouette so folks wouldn't know he was white off top? :jbhmm:

This 1000 times. If that isn’t proof he needs super producers to elevate his music, then I don’t know what else is.

I’m not a huge fan of Chris Brown but he can definitely dance better than JT, and his career has never been dependent on one or two producers like JT. He’s way more talented than JT overall.

Great artists can span different eras and collaborate with different producers, but still ultimately be their own artists. JT isn’t that. It’s no hate. It’s just facts.

JT heavily ripped off Michael Jackson for his debut album, from the hat, glove and music (who Neptunes originally made the songs for). Then he ripped off Prince on his second album. He is not original at all. There is no “JT” signature style.

Usher has it. Prince had it. R Kelly has it. Michael Jackson had it. JT’s sound is all Timbaland.

Weird thing is he can make some good sounds without him and did for other artist that were hits but himself seems like not the same way
He did Rihanna rehab single himself if I'm correct

JT is what Ginuwine should have been. Timbaland and Pharrell's production up until man on the moon carried that boy. JT never was seeing Usher or Chris Brown on any terms of R&B.

I'd be lying if that Lizzo snippet didn't sound dope :patrice: I feel like Pharrell puts some subliminal shyt in his beats that automatically makes think that shyt is heat
