The man of woods album had elements of Pop, R&b, funk, soul and Americana music according to Wikipedia so it was pretty much the same as his other records. Production of the albums was handled by Tiimberlake, Timbaland, The Nelptunes and Danja among others. As for being a culture vulture I don't see anything wrong with a white person or any other non black person doing black music. If you have a non black person wh grows up listening to R&b or Hiphop music and then decides to become a Rapper or an R&b singer that person is not a vulture to me. But if you have someone who is just doing R&b or Hiphop just because it's popular at the moment then that person is a vulture .

JT is what Ginuwine should have been. Timbaland and Pharrell's production up until man on the moon carried that boy. JT never was seeing Usher or Chris Brown on any terms of R&B.

What do you Justin Timberlake is what Ginuwine could've been ? Ginuwine is a legend put some respect on the man's name.

It’s not even hate. JT is an above average vocalist at best. The production carried his whole career.

Usher, Michael Jackson, Prince etc... take them out of their songs and they no longer have that spark. They have their signature sounds.

Replace JT with any decent vocalist and the songs would still be great in spite of JT. He doesn’t make the songs. The songs make him. No hate.

the 3rd was good, and the latest was not great but had a couple of tracks I liked.

People gave him the side eye back then but there was no social media to amplify the negative feelings and people fukked with the music. Once the good music dried up the old negative feelings resurfaced and this time there was social media to expand and highlight the disdain that had been just below the surface for so long.
