Black people with a White parent shouldn't automatically be dismissed

although there where many mixed Black people throughout Afrikan history who very detrimental to the black race by doing the bidding of their White parent

on the other side, there were many mixed Black people throughout history, that decided to dismiss their White parent

and decided to ride for the Black race

I wasnt dismissing him, hope it didnt seem like thats what i was saying.

I just think its weird when someone grows up in a house with a white woman and is so pro black.

Not saying its a bad thing.

I wish white people would stop apologizing for this shyt. I'm going to assume JT meant no ill and simply reverting to how white people try to see things: love is love, we're all the same, etc. That's like in the constitution of white people lol. And given that JT hasn't done anything for me to question his views on civil rights or police brutality I'm not going to jump down his throat over some fukking tweets.

Depends on the mom honestly, they get that wake up call when someone white looks at their child with that racist angst the baby boomer generation likes to quietly do.

Some white moms with bi-racial children catch it pretty bad with snide comments and dirty glares from passive aggressive white folks especially if they take their child places without the father, like target or a park even.

It opens their eyes to how things are when you're black. .. they kinda end up arming the child with that sense of "militant" for lack of a better word.

It's ridiculous and hypocritical for Timberlake to cosign Jesse's speech when he claims black music but doesn't speak up on black issues or show he even gives a damn about black people outside of music. You don't see a problem with that? How can you cosign a speech that was aimed directly at you and then say it's all love? It's laughable. He knows he is being hypocritical but he is trying to hide behind this all love talk. He can save that shyt because it's phoney.

I didn't hear speech, but if it wasn't focusing on unity and all people not being regarded by the race, but as humans, then it was not a good speech.

You should feel no special connection of any sort to anyone simply because of skin color, but only because we are human.

All this pro black, pro white, pro mexican stuff is all nonsense.

How about EVERYONE start preaching pro-Human.

Exactly.

This is exactly why Twitter is on his neck at the moment.

being so insensitive to talk that "we're all one" crap yet be quiet enough to where you can hear a rat piss on cotton at times when your voice could come in handy of informing the "all lives matter" folks that this stuff being mentioned is very real.

If his mission was to serve as a distraction until the speech blows over then it seems he's on his way. Otherwise he really shoulda sat this one out

Exactly. Got all these cacs, and some c00ns, pulling their shows and economic booms outta North Carolina over bathroom issues, but couldn't get a single cac that's vulturing our culture to put that type of effort behind any wrong doing done to blacks. Everybody and their momma ready to pour their heart, support, and money to Orlando, but nobody wanna take a stand for Charleston, SC and the terrorist act they endured while in church. If we are all one, then act like it. Otherwise, cacs like JT can miss me with this crap.

How about everyone start acknowledging that equality is a false reality to black people and that unity is about everyone being treated like humans? You cant even begin to preach pro-human when black people don't have the same rights and often times are treated less than. Here lies the problem.

But JT has spoken about black issues, donated to black interests, always gives proper respect to those who influenced him, etc.

If this was Kid Rock saying this sure, I'd get why people were upset. But I see no reason to catch feelings over a harmless white dude essentially asking "can't we all get along."

He hasn't spoken up on black issues. He may tap dance around it but never fully addresses his opinions and play the background while he continues to cash in on black music.

He can't say "we are all the same" without acknowledging that we as black people are treated less than equal.
