after a few spins this is pretty weak from Ka:upsetfavre:. the lyrics are cool but beats are pretty bland this time. and no this it aint better than AE. i know this is some ppl's underdog but this is not that great. hopefully we get that collab with roc marc this year:eat:

:noah:

Damn, I've been looking forward to it for more than two years
Patience my friend. Let us let Ka breathe. I remember Ka saying that he wanted to get his weight up and not let Metal Clergy rest fully on Roc's shoulders.

roc said around october or november.

Thanks for the date. If it's really October/ November, I don't expect it until 2014. Cats are (rightfully so) trying to maximize profits with every release. I just hope that they do a tour with the Clergy material.

What this nikka aint as nice as ROC MARC:stopitslime:

Hes dope but nah.......
I believe that it is much closer than it seems. Roc and Ka are almost two sides of the coin with similar subject matter. Ka just fits my style so I gravitate to him more than Roc.

LOL. I understand what you're saying. What would you have them do? Rap louder just because? Just for you?

There is nothing wrong with negative or opposing opinions. If we can say that we like it they can say that they don't. They didn't say that son shouldn't rhyme or that cats are silly for listening.

It took me a few listens to really get into Grief Pedigree. There is a bit of a learning curve with Ka as you adjust to his style.
I hear you but I didn't get that at all. I admit that multiple listens are required to catch all his nuances but I didn't sense a curve different from what I normally listen to.

That's backwards. I as a fan want others to be put on. A sticky would help even it cats just stream. That's worth a sticky alone.

I appericate you coming at me with some science ...

instead of others who got all emotional

it just might be the wrong season :yeshrug:

if this came out in like January i might gave it a better review ...

it just summer you expect some emotion, some hypeness in the record ...

That's something that I didn't even factor in. I'm juts hype to hear/ have another record from Ka. That makes me wonder if Ka feels that this is an appropriate summer record? What of his other music do you enjoy?

Ka and Roc match perfectly like Chef and Starks...

Ka is a beast with the pen...ok on the mic, but I enjoy his music.

These beats are sick by the way.

You're right. Someone likened the feel of this album to Mobb Deep's Hell On Earth. While i dont agree necessarily, i know that i tend to bump Hell on Earth in the winter times and at night...with Ka(and Roc Marci too) i tend to do the same. especially at night.

his last record, Grief Pedigree plays better for the summer

Anybody who bought the album in close proximity to Brownsville? It would be dope as hell to have a rapper hand deliver his album to you.
