I agree. He was overpaid but at this point, all QB's are starting to be overpaid.

Which had nothing to do with Ryan's contract. The Falcons went 13-3 the year prior...injuries were the biggest factor with the 2013 Falcons.

Ryan contract hurt our chances to sign key players to long term deals. Instead stuck with average players on shorter deals. Ryan's contract made the draft that much more important.

falcons still finna be ass this year, tony g is gone so that 3rd down blanket is gone. roddy is getting up there in age. oline is a mess. no guarantee about dline getting better.
