Kaep will likely be signed DURING the season. Here's why...

much of the noise and attention around Kaep was amplified during the offseason where there were no games.

It's during the season where fans collective attention are around wins and losses that we will likely see Kaep sign with a team. The negative attention that will come with his signing will be secondary to the fans attention towards their team's week to week performance during the season.

At least that's what I'm hoping for....

Unfortunately that likely will give Kap a lesser chance at individual success, which I'm sure the league overall wouldn't mind. Of course depending on the team he could be alright on field. I don't share your optimism about it happening unfortunately, and at this point I don't even think a Kap signing is even "legitimate" so to speak.

:ohhh:

Yup. Didn't think about that. He can sign, get little chance to succeed or play, all the while the NFL can say "see....someone signed him!!"

food for thought;

Maybe he's just not good? So why bring in a player that doesn't move the needle at all and bring on all these distractions?

It's what gm's are thinking.

i get it...but I just don't see the NFL caving on this....

In their eyes, this would look like theyre giving in to a mob.

NFL hasn't officially taken a position on this....they're sticking with the "Hey we didn't ban him, and no one wants to sign him.....we're not for or against him....:hubie:

He's not signed and the distractions are still there. Every GM is having to answer to this. Players are still kneeling, good or bad. If anything, Kaepernick being signed reduces that distraction strictly to that team, which is probably dealing with it in some form anyway.

Maybe you'd have a point if "just not that good" was a Kaep only thing.

Ever think about that seeing the wealth of crap qbs having NFL jobs?

I forgot...your white intellectual dishonesty won't allow you to absorb that hypocrisy. :manny:
