nikkaz don't seem to understand they signed this dude with the plan to use him as a $2 3rd string camp QB rather than the coach that had to be used to take snaps yesterday, then send him back to where he came from when Joe cames back in a week

But they can't afford him, unless he's gonna play for peanuts. They have like a million in cap space, with more pressing needs than backup QB. They were already thin at OL, and then one retires. I'm guessing cutting one of the other 2 QB's to make room for him would be a hit to the cap, then they pick him up and probably can't do anything about filling the other holes. Like I said if Flacco was seriously injured then they would probably make that move

You do when your O-line and pass rushing is a bigger need than your back-up QB and you have this much cash to spend to get it fixed
Signing the dude they got is like hiring Chinese kids to make sneakers.
You say that like there are still a lot of high quality o-linemen and pass rushers on the market still....there aren't.
And having a good backup qb is very important in this league, we saw what happened to the Raiders without Carr last year. If they had a half decent qb they would have shyt all over that Brock Osweiler led Texans team.
Exactly when have you ever heard a team justify not signing a player because hes too good
