Lots of players took a stand against I justice..Kap had no game plan at all ... Didn't support any candidate, publicly praised fidel Castro...plus he lost a lot of weight..its way more than "he just took a stand against injustices "(which that statement in itself is also incorrect)

In all fairness, have you spoke with him and did he tell you his game plan?

He wore a shirt or made one simple comment. I never heard him say " support Castro fully"

I have a Jason shirt, didn't buy the Friday the 13th game, never bought a ticket to a Friday the 13th movie...... don't think I supported them

He lost weight? What that have to do with anything? Doesn't automatically mean he will be significantly weaker. Ok he was 240 but what is this significant weight loss is he at now? Like I hear that but haven't heard no one mention how much he weighs now or needs to be.

I see Tom Brady is listed at 225, just saying

Ravens sign ‘camp arm’ quarterback David Olson

Over the last 48 hours, It's been speculated that the Baltimore Ravens could possibly sign free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick since Joe Flacco will miss time due to a potential disc issue in his back.

But instead of signing Kaepernick, Baltimore signs a deal with former Champions Indoor Football quarterback David Olson. Olson is likely being brought on as a "camp arm" to help the Ravens have enough passers on the practice field with Flacco currently being held out for a week as a precaution.

In the CIF, Olson played for the Kansas City Phantoms in 2017 where he completed 54.3 percent of his passes with 395 passing yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in four games played.

Olson also spent time earlier in his college career at Stanford under coach Jim Harbaugh notably sitting behind quarterback Andrew Luck on the depth chart. Olsen would eventually transfer to Clemson where he sat behind quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Following Thursday's practice, coach John Harbaugh indicated that the team would definitely be adding another quarterback to the mix, just maybe not Kaepernick at this time.

"We are definitely going to get another arm in here, but he is not an 'arm,' obviously," John Harbaugh said of Kaepernick. "He is an accomplished football player, and we always like having good football players around."

As of now, Kaepernick isn't in the cards for the Ravens. However, if Flacco's back injury lingers into the regular season impacting his ability to play, Kaepernick likely becomes a more realistic and logical option at that point.

I'll hit you back with some rep I don't watch sports so I didn't know you were quoting Vick. Don't take it personal. It's not sarcastic without the context and even then it's not really sarcasm.... Maybe satire.

Kap just needs to retire and not play. He's made millions of Dollars, his impact is an activist and not a football player.

Its obvious he doesn't care about his Job as a football player because if he did he would try and play the game and give off the "perception" he is conforming, even if he isn't in his personal life.

While Michael Vick was wrong giving his opinion on Kap in that manner, the statement he made does have a point. Right now, Kap is an unemployed Football player. When someone is unemployed and looking for work, the natural thing we all do is apply at companies we want to work for and go through the interview process. There is a level of conforming we all take part in to get "hired". You're probably going to wear a suite and tie, cut or comb your hair, and try to present the very best of yourself, even if that doesn't reflect who you really are. Kap refuses to play this game and thats ok.

But don't be surprised if you show yup to a Job interview in Jeans and T-shirt and don't get hired regardless of your past experience. Optics do matter. Its all a game of social fronts. If Kap Really cared about his Job as a football player he would at least try to play this game.

Kap is not willing to compromise on his beliefs for a paycheck and thats fine. But dont be shocked if there are consequences in doing so.

No one is saying he has to compromise his beliefs. What Im saying is there needs to be a perception that he is conforming on some level, even if he isn't in his personal life.
