Ambition wasn’t his debut, it was “Attention Deficit,” and the only thing I remember about that album is that Cole had the best verse on the whole album. :pachaha:

Funny you bring him up because one of Wale's most notable moments is getting upset with Cole for "False Prophets" because the second verse was about him wanting the fame and respect that others had.

Wale himself struggles with the fact that he's not as successful as he thinks he should have been, so why is anyone surprised when that manifests itself in real life and someone doesn't know who he is?

The fact that this kid has a platform and there’s a group of people who actually value his opinion, find him to be entertaining or “talented” is on any level is something I will never understand…and I am okay with that.
No different from late show hosts who have fans except he doesn't have a team of writers putting together the shyt he says like they do. If people like Conan can have fans just off the strength of his talk shows I don't see how it's any weirder than streamers having fans

Freestyling for an audience for 8+ hours is difficult as hell, most entertainers can't stay "on" for that long without multiple breaks and someone giving em some guidance

This is who he listens to, very current mainstream surface level music.

Why get mad when you 30 or 40 and spent the majority of your time digesting every bit of music from your era you could. He obviously ain't that far into music like that.

Ask the average 23 year old they gonna say they listen to Future, Gunna, Tecca, Yeet... That's just their era, they probably up on some of the secondary artists in that field that we never heard of, so....

Y'all nikkas are overdoing it with this Gen Z only knows Drake, Kendrick, Future, Cole, Travis etc shyt. They know most of the B/C/D listers.

Wale's problem is he remained a niche artist whose music never made a cultural impact and hoes were never really interested in him.

Yes. Meek Mill, Nipsey, Cole, Drake all have been popping for the last ten years. Wale has hits and was on the same label as Meek. Stop acting like Wale is some no name nikka like he ain't got hits, albums, and dope mixtapes.
