Queer

As in anyone who doesn't behave according to Western cultural norms

Also...no good can come of this, just like this brand split.

A lot of people use "Questioning" as well.

This is a far cry away from the WWE I know.... The WWE that had JR throw sublims at Pat Patterson all the time :mjcry:

Stephanie is the Queen of shameless pandering. She's so transparent. And please don't get inspiration from Pat Patterson who has been known to be a lecherous predatory scumbag for decades.

Before you worry about pushing new LGBT gimmicks and pretending to be progressive how about you push a new black main eventer which we haven't gotten in over 10 years? :wtb:

As much as I love Enzo and Cass, their shtick is borderline homophobic. They make this an immediate contradiction.

Wrestling is what it is, Steph really has no idea what she's doing.
unfortunately steph is not a true carny..where is shane to take the reins of this shyt?

Someone wrote an article about Enzo and Cass after Raw.

Pruett’s Pause: WWE Raw – WWE sends another homophobic message, build to Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor continues, and more of Will’s in-person perspective of Raw – Pro Wrestling Dot Net

:lolbron: at how it's called "Pause".

Michael Sam? Jason Collins?:usure:

If anything, gay black men are the ones who get the most attention when coming out these days, for whatever reason:mjpls:
Because it's sports :heh: white men in entertainment come out all the time, y'all just don't hear about it :yeshrug:

Gay black and Latino men and women have always been at the forefront of the movement (i.e. Stonewall) yet they are never given the props and respect they deserve and even movies that have to do with that situation are whitewashed. They also made up like 95% of the people killed at the Pulse Club shooting but the media just wanted to focus on the ISIS connection. Had that been all gay white men it probably would've been different.

Listen, never forget that no matter the sexual orientation, occupation, etc. black people will always be underrepresented and at the bottom of the totem pole.

WWE doesn't need to make any of their straight wrestlers play a gay person. They actually have done a super great job with Darren Young. But this article just sounds like they wanna overtly make it known he's gay and knowing them that means chock full of stereotypes.

Queer.

Another example of WWE not handling sensitive storylines well, the Jack Swagger/Zeb Colter anti-immigrant (Trump before Trump) gimmick. It got major heat, which it was supposed to get, and WWE then released a video/disclaimer with Zeb breaking all kinds of kayfabe :francis:

They tried to go for an edgy storyline and got called out by the same people they were supposed to be inspired by. :russ:

I don't think I've ever heard that happening before.

I mean, I can't even blame them cause that video was fukking hilarious. Zebs whole demeanor was " you know this shyt ain't real right? :dahell: "

It's just the problems that happen when you're in the Reality Era and a gimmick like that could bring up a lot of negative publicity. The WWE ain't on that 'any publicity is good publicity' wave anymore :yeshrug:

What's the backstory for this?

He had come out as gay, so for no rhyme or reason, they had him "come out" of a box singing Boy George and got absolutely crushed across the skull with a steel chair. That was that. No follow up.
