She's a good communicator (being a lawyer) and she WILL have an advantage with Black female voters in the southern primaries. Joe Biden voted in support of segregated bussing. That's gunna come out if he runs. Beto has charisma but why would Black women chose him over Kamala?
Kamala being Howard alumni gives her SOME sort of connection to African Americans that she sorely needs. (Obama relied on Michelle for that, but Kamala doesnt have an AA husband) White people are stupid enough to think she's African American (Jake Tapper called her that the other day) but Black folks know her "Blackness" comes from her immigrant Jamaican father.
I think college educated Black folk will be sold on her, but the working class Black voter...I dunno. I think Booker can connect with your average Black person better than Kamala, but Booker has issues with self composure that get him in trouble. (like that idiotic Spartacus moment during the Kavanaugh hearings)

Less be honest .. if she made it out the primary she would still win the majority of the black vote easily but I don't think she would win enough to get the job done. She might even get less of the black vote than Hillary..

She's a prosecutor, so I dont believe for 1 second she would wilt like a flower in the wind when Trump starts his low blow attacks.
And she's certainly a better public speaker that Elizabeth Warren, who is one of the worst Ive ever heard.

The issue for Kamala will be that in order to get enough CAC voters to support her (as they did Obama), she has to play down race, exactly the way Obama did and alot of people aint feeling that at all.

I'll vote for Kamala, but Biden is probably the Dems best chance at winning. With that said, I feel like Biden is also the candidate who most likely has some questionable skeletons in his closet, and he'll be "cancelled" 3 or 4 times before he makes it to the primaries.

Dems need a strong pragmatic centrist to serve as a counterpoint to Trump's fukkery.

It could be male or female b/c the country is primed for it.
They would have to come off sounding extremely reasonable while also being reassuring to multiple groups.
