I think that in a case between Harris and Booker, before policies come into play, that Harris' HBCU and divine nine affiliations would give her an advantage over Booker with some voters.
The same way that people are saying, before policies get factored, that they have a connection with Booker that they do not share with Harris.
If the stat that HBCUs produce more college graduates than PWIs is still true, then there is a large group of HBCU alumni among registered Black voters out there. A smaller but still substantial % of frat/sorority members among registered Black voters. I haven't seen the numbers to support the claim, but I would assume that college graduates are more likely to vote , and that applies to all races. More likely to contribute to political campaigns.
I've seen Cory Booker's "Black card" get pulled during the Newark mayor races by Sharpe James, so I fully expect Harris' campaign to do a subtle version of that soon, which would be ironic. Politics is filthy....they push every possible emotional button.
I expect to see pink and green* "Kamala for president" banners to hit the net very soon, hahaahahahahahahah
