Cause he didn't say it. He basically saying he wasn't writing his rhymes like a Hov or Wayne claim to do. Though i believe Kanye has used numerous ghostwriters over the years.

He wrote lyrics down and memorized them and spit them in the studio in front of everybody, just like Jay-Z does.

Only rappers i can think of that goes off the top are Weezy and Snoop and thats because they are mostly flows and giggles, and even they take time to put the pen game down.

nikkas think this is rocket science or some shyt, constructing a verse in your head is not that hard, for some people it's actually easier to just to string together lines and rehearse in your head than it is putting it on paper.

i used to "write" like that on the account of my handwriting being ass, not because it's some rare talent.
