Well what most don’t understand is like Kendrick sometimes will have an whole verse written and ready to go like he said but sometimes it take half a day to find the right beat and if not sounwave gotta make it or some other producer

Other times Kendrick doesn’t seem to write anything and may have the prefect beat and he will take his time and freestyle a whole song but he may just joint down an idea but he will freestyle the rest. It different for most MCs.

Kanye admits to not writing as well as Wayne and jay z so take it for what it worth I see the advantages of writing and not writing.

I guess you never read album credits before. this isn't news every kanye song has like 12 writers on it. even if you include samples still like 3-4 people writing per track a lone.
