This is what pisses me off about Kanye and his hubris the most.

It's all about his dreams being funded. His genius.

There are tons of younger people, namely younger people of color, he could be helping because he has the money to invest in their vision and know how.

He shouldn't be begging from Mark Zuckerberg via Twitter. He should be offering to support someone else's dream via Twitter. Fielding and promoting the ideas of others.

He's a selfish narcissist to me.

I did like some songs on his album though, lol.

I don't support what Kanye's doing, but DONDA is supposed to be a vehicle that other people do get their ideas done through.

Don't understand what the fascination with Kanye is anyway, even his music has been garbage since his first 3 albums. If he didn't marry Kim and do all these things on social media everyone would have long forgotten about him by now.

i haven't read the thread so someone has probably already made certain similar bits but anyway...
i think Kanye is honest when he says he wants to help/change/bring something to the world that would have him compared to Disney and Job etc

it's just he can't do it in the way they did because they introduced brand new things to the world in a way that right now Kanye can't and this is what probably eats away at him...especially when he has sunk so much time, effort and money into his passions music and the clothing.

the music, Kanye has always moved on with each album, now he gave us a bit of everything we like about him on one album
i like it, but he's hit the proverbial wall so to speak...theres no real going forward..he's now influenced by the same people he himself influenced.

the fashion line itself is a clearly his take on everybody that he likes.

..those two things won't change the world, but they can inspire others.
it feels like Kanye isn't satisfied enough that his music is inspiring the people who are creating the next big thing, he actually wants his name attached to it.

so now he wants backing to make this vision he has of Donda..and if it was to ever come to fruition and someone under it creates say...the next Facebook. his name and his mothers name is attached to it..i think it would lift something off of him and he feel like he brought something to the world and can move onto something else....like if he actually has a go at his presidency campaign or some shyt (and him being able to get backing for the company gauges how much people would be willing to donate to his campaign down the line, he's already mentioned the investment bankers that have been in touch with him)



or everybody can be looking too much into it and he's manic or doing a Joaquin Phoenix style documentary.
