This post tho...
ask the CEO of Facebook for his help via Twitter brehs
breh, it's really not a bad comparison..
what aeronautical/automotive/manufacturing experience did Elon have before he decided he wanted to build SpaceX? he was NOT an expert in these areas when he initially started the division. he was seen as a guy who made his fortune building online merchant platforms. he WAS laughed at & derided by "experts" in the specific fields he was trying to enter.
Kanye's genius, vision, and goals are certainly different than Elon's, but they still exist & have value.
BTW, Elon's latest ventures haven't exactly been profitable cash cows & he STILL faces resistance and major hurdles
Can't dap this comment. That Donda shyt gonna get him blackballed for real
He would be stepping on major toes

When I started my clothing line my business and one of my source of income, I had to use money out of my own pocket. Simply because, I tried getting loans, no bank would give one to me. Alot of banks do not want to give black people loans even when they have a sound business plan. shyt, there was a case here in NYC where a well known bank chain strategically positioned their branches just so they can be in moneyed white areas in an attempt to deter black and brown people from trying to even seek out loans. In the latino community, they atleast support each other. Black people are out here alone with as little help as possible. That saddened me to think about all of the potentially great businesses, ideas, inventiions, and whatnot that could possibly change the world that are not a reality simply because we don't have the capital to get them off the ground.
Meanwhile it seems like banks and investors when it comes to whites and others have money to piss away. giving millions in investment capital to tech companies that are valued at millions but don't even make any real money outside of adclicks. Giving loans to novelty startup businesses that sell $6 cupcakes that close down in less than 2 years and dogy daycare centers. Before the influx of white gentrifiers came into Brooklyn, these banks couldn't of been arsed to give out a 100 bucks at a time.
Don't say that breh.Kanye on suicide watch
Kanye West is in that 5% of black people that can actually do this though. The rest are getting laughed at and getting the runaround.Rich people asking for other rich people's money literally happens all the time.
it's called investing, partnerships, nepotism...
But pretend that doesn't exist.
How do you know that doesn't want to do just that? This is what pisses me off about Kanye and his hubris the most.
It's all about his dreams being funded. His genius.
There are tons of younger people, namely younger people of color, he could be helping because he has the money to invest in their vision and know how.
He shouldn't be begging from Mark Zuckerberg via Twitter. He should be offering to support someone else's dream via Twitter. Fielding and promoting the ideas of others.
He's a selfish narcissist to me.
I did like some songs on his album though, lol.

Exactly what Nas did... put your and some friends money together into a small fund, start cutting checks for $50k here, $200k there, invest in other people and then the big boys will come calling to your door anyway, wanting to give you money and put it in your fund.

That 180 tho.

kanye is a genius. He's either going to change the world, or murder suicide the entire KArdashian clan. No inbetween
Asking for money to fund his projects could help accomplish this. It's called using leverage to boost return. Use other people's money buy something you couldn't afford to do other wise. Pay them back as your business expands.
