What's wrong with what he's doing? Mark himself got help when he was first starting out. The one's who are criticizing this are doomed to be worker bees for the rest of their lives.
Aight...I'm going in my g. I respect you as a poster and I respect your opinions, but let me give you some real rap from a black man's perspective.
We got different circumstances to face when it comes to trying to catapult our dreams into reality because not many people, even in the black community, care to fund them.
When I started my clothing line my business and one of my source of income, I had to use money out of my own pocket. Simply because, I tried getting loans, no bank would give one to me. Alot of banks do not want to give black people loans even when they have a sound business plan. shyt, there was a case here in NYC where a well known bank chain strategically positioned their branches just so they can be in moneyed white areas in an attempt to deter black and brown people from trying to even seek out loans. In the latino community, they atleast support each other. Black people are out here alone with as little help as possible. That saddened me to think about all of the potentially great businesses, ideas, inventiions, and whatnot that could possibly change the world that are not a reality simply because we don't have the capital to get them off the ground.
Meanwhile it seems like banks and investors when it comes to whites and others have money to piss away. giving millions in investment capital to tech companies that are valued at millions but don't even make any real money outside of adclicks. Giving loans to novelty startup businesses that sell $6 cupcakes that close down in less than 2 years and dogy daycare centers. Before the influx of white gentrifiers came into Brooklyn, these banks couldn't of been arsed to give out a 100 bucks at a time.
I'm not a worker bee...and I know how it is...I'm just saying breh...it's not that easy.
