I'm evolving on R Kelly and Diddy as well. Just because these people are bad doesn't mean they can't create good enjoyable things and don't deserve to make a living. They have families and loved ones. People shouldn't suffer just because they have evil views. If he's not taking actionable steps to harm others why should I care what his views are?

Ye is beyond cancelling at this point. He has had too much influence on culture; arguably, he has been the most impactful artist in hip-hop.

As much of an idiot as he is, and he has said a ton of hateful things, but most people just care about the music.

ehh ... think about it, Kanye has said some horrible things which warrant people to never listen to him again, but some of these rappers have influenced death, drug use and drug dealing in many ways, but somehow we are okay with that.

You’re WHAT on them two? Look, Diddy and Kellz made legendary music, but if they both got shanked to death in their cell tomorrow, I’m shrugging my shoulders and going about my day (and those two DID harm others). For everything we say Diddy, Kellz and Ye did wrong in life, they got first class seats in hell waiting for them, so when they get a taste of what hell feels like I’m not about to run and defend them because they made great use of their talents at one point.

Man look, music is tied to many important moments in one’s life so I never have an issue when someone doesn’t wanna let go of songs. But I can let people with no moral compass allow me to let go of mine. I’m not about to pretend someone’s past catalog doesn’t matter anymore based on their present day bullshyt. That’s like eating something, finding out you like it only for someone to tell you that what you ate was squirrel.

But if you ain’t shyt, then whatever bad happens to you will be deserved. Unfortunately for a lot of people, MAGA and the lowest of the low are supported by so many things we like that we have to suspend so much of that shyt.
